I stayed here with my family for 2 nights. We found this hotel to be in a good location. The rooms were very clean. The staff were friendly and happy to assist with everything. The breakfast was very good with a good variety of thing to eat. Our son got engaged this weekend, and this hotel made the whole experience a very happy one. As a party of 5 we cannot wait to revisit Lyon, and stay a this lovely hotel again.

I am on the tail end of a wonderful week at Campanile. The staff has been so incredibly helpful and accommodating, it's made this stay a pleasure. The rooms are very comfortable and have air conditioning (necessary during this heat wave). The lobby has been a great place to meet up with friends and have a coffee or a glass of wine. As well, they have a water cooler with filtered water, still and sparkling (also necessary in the heat). The staff is on duty 24/7, the rooms are cleaned well, and it's very convenient to get to everywhere I've needed to go. When I come back to Lyon, I will stay here.

The cleaning lady and the reception staff were kind and very helpful. The lighting in the bathroom was excellent however the red/pink light in the room was a bit of a torture to the eyes. We checked out an hour later for an extra 10€ which is faire enough. Not very modern but definitely a decent hotel.

A decent 3 star hotel located on the wrong side of the river. The majority of decent restaurants were on the other side of the river however the hotel did have some positive points. Reception staff were in general very helpful and assisted our party on many occasions. The rooms are very basic but did have all the amenities required. Breakfast was exceptional on the first two days of our five night visit but did fall short later into our stay. The attendant during Breakfast was the most miserable person I have ever met and not an asset to the Hotel. However Breakfast was far better than expected. There was However an issue with the bar not only did they run out of beer but no notification of the lack of beer was given until we were eventually served. This issue did spoil out visit. Due to the negative aspects I find it difficult to recommend this Hotel.

The room has a window which cannot be opened, but at the same time does not close fully so you hear the noise from the alleyway. There is dust in the corner of the room and bathroom. I cannot say anything bad about the bed. Overall a disappointing stay even if this is one of the cheapest options to stay near the center of Lyon. It is like they know they are cheaper than anyone else so they do not even try to care. The invitation in the elevator to just give ratings above 8 from 10 points is the cherry on the top of this dillutional hotel concept.
