Thank you so much to the staff at Canal Grande Hotel! The service here is excellent and the staff have been so friendly and helpful! The room is a nice size for two and the bed is actually comfortable!!! I particularly like the location because it’s a little bit outside of the busy areas, so at night it’s been quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel specifically because the service is so wonderful!

This has been an absolutely wonderful hotel from start to finish. From the moment we booked the staff were reaching out to help us plan the best vacation. The staff are fantastic and take great care of you. Take them up on their dinner recommendations, they'll help you book reservations too. The breakfast is so delicious with fresh fruit, pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, coffee, juice. They have a gorgeous sitting area overlooking the canal. The location is quiet so you don't feel overran with the other tourists but it's only a few minutes walk to the train station. The rooms are great too. I could really only have one complaint - the pillows were flat and hard. If they got fluffy pillows it would be perfection.

My wife and I traveled around Europe for nearly a month & staying at the Hotel Canal Grande was one of our most memorable experiences. There are so many hotel options in Venice it is difficult to determine the right place to stay. We feel fortunate that we selected the right one. So if you are looking for a small intimate boutique hotel, on the Grand Canal but quiet, short walk to train station (if you have a lot of luggage you may need a Porter/2 bridges to cross, which the hotel will arrange), 15 min walk to St. Mark's Square, great breakfast overlooking the Canal, many good restaurants in the area and an incredible level of Service, this is the place to stay in Venice. Our room was small but nice & modern with a terrace overlooking the small square and Canal. But again, this hotel excels due to the service provided by EVERY staff member. They are very thoughtful and clearly want you to enjoy your stay in Venice. A special shout out to Anka. She made our visit much more special. She did so much for us. Thanks!! Looking forward to our return!

Very lovely place! The staff there were super nice. The location is very good, it’s only 6 mins walk from the train station. You can buy a daily pass for the ferry and the ferry stop is close by. My dad left our purse in the room, it contains all our passports and one envelope with $5000. The staff there found the purse and carefully kept it in the safe. They are our life savor~
