Great stay at Casa Monacone in Naples. In a central location close to everything within 10-30mins walk. Comfy beds and blackout curtains. Love that is next to a beautiful church as well. Thank you for the great stay, hope to return soon.

I could go on about the extraordinary setting - in a monastery complex which includes both flamboyant baroque decor, early Christian catacombs, and the pillars of a massive bridge built to allow royal coaches to avoid contact with the plebs - but what I liked the most was the enthusiastic and extremely friendly staff, who made us completely welcome and gave us tips about the neighbourhood. The rooms were spotless and the breakfasts included memorable warm Neapolitan patisseries and more than decent coffee. The place is run as a social charity, so your custom goes towards improving the lot of people in what is still a deprived, but super interesting neighbourhood. Bravo to la Paranza!

Oh my goodness, what a gem of a find. A really special community of people that felt like a great big family. The room was spotless, great shower and the air conditioning was blinkin wonderful and very welcome!!! Also a visit to the catacombs that are a part of the project are a must. If we're ever in Naples again we'll be staying here no question.
