Absolutely loved this hotel. Great attention to detail in the room quality. Bathroom was great, with a rain type shower head. Staff was really helpful and lovely people. Overall location was great walking to many of the markets and temples. Also quite location, away from one of the main busy roads in the old town.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Chankam hotel. The décor is gorgeous and fitting for Chiang Mai. The bedroom and bathroom are well furnished with a beautiful setup. The best thing in my opinion is the service. I got sick with food poisoning while I was at Chiang Mai. The hotel staff especially Nok took really good care of me while I was sick. They were really sweet and even got gatorade for me while I was sick to my stomach. Nok also gave me great advice on where to go in Chiang Mai. I loved my stay here and would recommend anyone to go here. If you want a warm inviting place with great staff I would recommend this place. Only negative I would say is the internet here. I think they're working on upgrading it, but it definitely was quite poor. I hope they can get that fixed. Thanks again Nok! Much love to you and your staff!

A local hotel in the Old Town, decorated with old-world charms, convenient to local attractions and restaurants. I stayed in a Standard room that is quite spacious, with a sit-in balcony. The shower cubicle is roomy with a strong spray. Wat Phra Singh, Sunday night market are close by. Wat Chedi Luang, Lanna Museum are longer walks. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops around the area.

We had a really nice stay in this clean and new hotel. Staff was very friendly. Two things were not that satisfying, 1. many mosquitos in the hotel lobby as it is an open space, many of them on the hallways and due to open doors at cleaning times also in the rooms. 2. The bar looks well equipped but twice in the evenings no one has been there to serve drinks except for bottled beer and bottled coke. I would have definitely given a five star rating and overlooked these things but at checkout after three days we were charged 300 baht for a broken water glass which fell down on the floor whilst we had some leisure time at the bar one evening. After asking if they were serious about it there was no reaction. Generally it is funny to charge a water glass, and the amount of 300 baht is way too much. Too bad they destroyed the nearly perfect feeling they built up many days.
