I'm so happy with our choice to stay here, it's a beautiful hotel, beautifully clean, beautifully run, wonderful people, so quiet. Very tasteful, every scene is well chosen and a delight to be there. A great location within Chiang Mai. Delicious breakfast, again, beautifully presented. There is no dinner option here but they will recommend or bring in food, there is also no bar, but there is a mini bar. The room was really lovely, my only reason for marking down the room is that there is nowhere apart from a small wardrobe to put your clothes so we had to have suitcases and piles of clothes on the floor. A small cupboard or some shelves would have been good. The room was not huge but perfectly big enough, not cramped at all. The pool is just right for what is needed in the city. Nice cool water, enough room to swim and sit and relax. We felt very welcome and very well looked after.

The breakfast was incredible. One of the best I had in Thailand. The only real let down about this hotel was the amount of light let in by the curtains. The outside light from the hotel stay on all night and the curtains are not fitted well/ not blackout so it made sleeping not as restful. On the other hand the bed was super comfy.

A wonderful boutique hotel. It is very close walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room clean, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the excellent breakfast options. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Wonderful hotel in the midst of the Old City. Quiet yet near the hustle and bustle enough. Hotel recepts are welcoming and can speak decent English. Ask them for the Michelin guide restaurants - all marvellous food recommendations. After our first night, we had to go for sunrise the next day. Despite breakfast starting only at 7am, they specially packed sando for us at 3am and gave us water and fruit juice! Such a thoughtful act! Breakfast was great too! Healthy yet good portion. Love the yogurt a lot and their toast breads are great too. The environment is chill as well, and there’s a same-day (before 10am, get back 5pm) laundry shop just down the road. Only issue is there is no 7-11 nearby, or minimarts. Need to walk like 5min to the nearest one. No hug supermarkets in old city as well. Still a place to stay for its value and location!

If you’re thinking about staying here, please read this review… Wow! I have so much to say about Cheeva Dee. First of all, this is a wonderfully adorable and charming hotel. Being a new tourist to Thailand and Chiang Mai… it’s all I could have wanted. The attention to detail and customer service is absolutely superb. On my last day in Chiang Mai, they sent their staff to the one and only Khao Soi restaurant I wanted to eat at because it was my last and only opportunity to eat there (Khao Soi Mea Manee). I had driven there myself a couple times before but because they’re closed on Buddhist holidays, I wasn’t able to catch them while they were open. I emailed their staff from a tour that I was as a Hail Mary idea… and asked if picking it up for me was something they’d consider doing. Otherwise, they would have been closed by the time my tour ended. When I arrived from my tour, I had hot Khoa Soi waiting for me with all of the sides (crispy noodles, limes, chili, coconut milk, etc.) plated, ready for me to mix in to my liking. WOW that is customer service and shows just how special they treat their guests. Thank you Mr. Oat! You demonstrated yet again just how wonderful and welcoming the Thai people are. The photo attached was sent to me by the hotel; their staff with my Michelin Guide Khoa Soi. It wasn’t only this experience though… everything was top notch for us. And I do feel like I have to address some of the not-great reviews I’ve read… Yes, they have a window-less room that when all the lights are off, is absolutely pitch black. I thought I wouldn’t like it… but honestly, it helped us sleep so much better and acclimate to the time zone. It’s also advertised as a windowless room so for anyone who is upset about that, pay the extra baht for a different room. But don't complain about it. I will be staying here again. And you should too.
