Old and outdated hotel with bad service. We were travelling and we picked this hotel to sleep over. The main reasons being, having a proper parking, playground for our child and air conditioned/cold and clean room so we can rest well. Unfortunately none of these criteria were there once we arrived. There was no clear marking where the hotel is and where the parking is. The road to the hotel is almost destroyed and no signs where to go or park. We parked next to a fast food place. There was a huge construction site ongoing, so no playground or anything like that (this was not mentioned anywhere). Finally, the room was too warm and the air inside was quite thick. It couldn't be chilled as there was a very tiny window and the air condition was not working. We pointed this out immediately and we were told it will be checked/fixed. So we went into the city in a restaurant. When we got back, nothing was done, I don't think they even checked. Long story short, they didn't have the remote control for the aircondition and told us that there's NO solution - it is what it is. We decided to go to another hotel as we had a long ride ahead (12h) and it was getting late (22h in the evening) - horrible experience for the child. We were asked to wait and they tried to find us an alternative. All of a sudden they offered us a fan (they coudn;t find the fan) and another room, but the room was also too warm, maybe slightly less warm than the first one, still without air condition. Just to clear it up, we hate aircondition but when the room is like sauna and you can't breathe you want to find any kind of solution. Overall, we were told to wait and wait and the lady working there was trying to call some people but couldn't find solution. We left the place with a bitter taste (without their 'confirmation' that we can simply leave, even though we spent only 10 minutes in the room and we didn't use anything except the toilet). We found another hotel with normal cold and clean rooms where we could sleep for few hours. I really don't understand the good reviews for this place. Maybe it was nice at some point or people really have very low expectations.

Spa was closed the day we stayed there unfortunately and no previous warnings. However, they did compensate us at the end. I’d advise going during the summer because the trees would cover the busy street right in front of the hotel.. Bedroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast is really good! The restaurant and bar is extremely expensive though.. only tasting menus available.

Our wedding was happening in Chateau St. Havel. I would like to thank everyone who works there very much - our every single requirement was fulfilled perfectly. Thank you for the main manager, who was going through and helping with the general calculation of the wedding (YES, here you can adjust all the menu by your preference if needed), then we would like to thank our coordinator Anna, who helped through the day. The staff was SUPER helpful during the wedding day too and reacted due to the people wishes/helping with every single thing we asked. We got the chairs we wanted, all the tables were prepared as we needed etc. Special award though goes for food. I have never had so much so amazing food within one day. Specifically the fish dishes (if you have a wedding def go for all the salmon options and get a small canapes and finger food). Also wine choice was great. Great job and thank you for making our day very super special!

Disappointing. We were expecting a beautiful chateau, instead we got an old chateau up a tatty rundown lane with building works going on. Room was small and very noisy, could here everything going on and doors slamming etc. Food and drink extremely expensive, although breakfast was OK. The place was like a building site, including the construction noise and it all just felt rather tired.

Wellness, sauna and massage are all nice, definitely recommend. The restaurant is unfortunately not at the same level. The service was border-line rude and unwelcoming right from the start (which you don't expect in such a place). Food was good (6/10) but it was not exceptional, comparing it to the other multiple course "fine dining" this was the worst one I ever tried.
