I loved my stay at Cheata Residence! The rooms are lovely and spacious with lots of light, the bed is super comfortable. And I absolutely love the shower and bathtub room. The pool and courtyard became a lovely, quiet, oasis after the crowds and busyness of sightseeing. The staff and owner are very helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. The restaurant has a nice assortment of both local cuisine and western cuisine. And I super appreciate that the included breakfasts are actual cooked meals to order, as opposed to a buffet that's been sitting out for hours. Big win with the breakfast! During my visit the only available alcohol was beer, but my tuck-tuck driver made a stop at a supermarket where I had plenty of choices. And thankfully the rooms come with a mini fridge! The area is away from the traditional tourist areas, which I loved. No loud bars or people yelling in the streets to keep you up at night. And the hotel can have a driver available with just a few minutes notice. I would definitely stay here again and I would highly recommend it to others.

A hidden paradise in Siem Reap. We both enjoyed our stay at this lovely place. Not only the magical surrounding but especially the staff makes your stay feel like 100 star. So much care for details. All to make you feel welcome and loved. I really good back to this place when I have the chance. Until then I will carry this hotel and her staff in my heart

The room was actually very much fine and we liked the pool and bath tub. The bed was comfortable too and not too noisy although you'd hear people playing in the pool easily from within the bedroom. The bad: breakfast was quite the small portion size and some options weren't available. Taste average to bad depending on the choice of menu. We asked the staff to rent a bike which they had options available, but later found out it was above market rate for the city. You're pretty much forced to have a bike in this location, because it's far from the center. The staff was also quite insistent to book us a taxi to go back to the border after our stay, which charges 50-60% above market rate. We kindly declined after finding one in the city center with a regular taxi company.
