The other review on here seems unfair. It's at the 3* kind of level, which is good enough for most travellers. The rooms are clean and look good. The breakfast is basic but for the price I don't expect more. It would be nice if they served real coffee though; not instant coffee. My main criticism applies to hotels in general in Istanbul: noise from outside. Bear in mind where this is (bars nearby) and how busy Istanbul is in any case elsewhere. It won't be quiet but it's OK. Recommended despite imperfections.

0. The smell of cigarette smoke is really serious. It is a non-smoking room, but it smells of cigarettes from afternoon until dawn. There is a problem with the ventilation system, and the door is open at the bottom so you can see it from the outside, so all the smells come in. It's the worst. I think I'll get lung disease if I stay here for too long. 1. Cash inducement is severe. They said they didn't have any cash so they told me to go to an ATM and get it. When I said I didn't want to pay and paid, they took another 7 euros, saying it was some kind of commission. It's a bonus that the atmosphere becomes cold when I get angry. 2. I checked in at 2:00, but it wasn't cleaned, so I checked in at 2:50. 3. They don’t clean the room. I stayed for 6 days, and they only gave me toilet paper and towels once, so I went to reception to get them. 4. There is one male counter employee who talks a lot. Every time I go somewhere, he checks to see where I am going. You can get the tickets cheaply. It's a nuance like this, but I feel burdened. It was the worst accommodation in many ways, and thanks to this, I don't think I'll ever come back to Istanbul.

Very comfortable place compared to the location but absolutely not recommended. Terrible, unprepared staff, terrible breakfast (3 cucumbers 4 tomatoes a piece of cheese no tea only coffee a few pieces of bread a box of honey, all prepared super late within 10 minutes), place absolutely devoid of personality despite being very nice, well kept, clean and in a great location. But this is not enough.
