I had a wedding here a few weeks ago in the outdoor Anna garden venue. At the root of my issues has to be the rules and regulations from this establishment , I think they are cowardly and severely lacking in customer fulfilment. They hide behind their company policies so that you do not have recourse because there is no one who can take accountability. Chloe gallery did not supply our drinks, decorations, photography or co-ordination on the day. We used our own providers and they all did a great job in our opinion. They had a straightforward task which is to give our guests good service and make our guests comfortable, they failed by a fair margin. The food was pretty decent at the 1 million not including VAT menu. Exhibit A - The service, following on from the above, there were several tables which asked for wine (which we paid 900k++/table to bring in) and they were never attended to. The bride asked why that table wasn't served wine, the staff answered they ran out of wine, when we had 2/6 full boxes left which never got served. The staff didn't even ask the neglected guests what would they like to drink? What is the surcharge for if we never get the service we paid for? Daylight robbery. Exhibit B - The meeting room which was provided to me to change into my tux had airconditioning (seems fine right?) and I turned it on immediately because it was still hot during the late afternoon. Around 10 minutes afterwards, I was instructed by the staff that I had to turn off the air conditioning and they would provide 1 fan to cool the whole room. I didn't complain at that moment in time because I just wanted to prepare myself for my wedding. Company policy states that unless you rent the meeting room, you cannot use the airconditioning, even though they were allowing me to use the room to prepare. Exhibit C - It was hot in our outdoor venue, even throughout the night. I was swearing my *** off and you could even see from their own serving staff that were suffering too. Biggest complaint from guests was about the heat and even from request for more fans, they did not accomodate us, same as the meeting room. Exhibit D - We had a specific request that we wanted to do a sake bomb which requires a standard beer glass. They were notified of this when we initially booked the venue about 6 months before the wedding date. To my shock, 2 hours before the vow ceremony, they notified my now wife that they do not have beer glasses and we had to order our own (Picture is included for evidence) Exhibit E - We added the option of welcome drinks for our wedding ceremony guests (up to 50) charged at 120k VND per person not inc VAT or tax. We were told by the sales people that we would be able to bring in some of our own appetizers through this option. Another company policy (surprise , surprise), states that no outside food or drinks can be consumed on premise without rigorous health and safety checks. Exhibit F - We were not happy with the service provided throughout the day and shortly upon the conclusion of the event, we were asked to make the final payment and this left a real bad taste with us. We asked for management to speak to us and although they listened, the event was finished and due to company policies, the same thing would happen to other brides and grooms. They offered a 10% discount on our final payment of around 36 million, but they also told us that if we took the discount, the management and staff would have to pay out of their own pocket (another company policy). I would like to finally say, I have seen quite a few negative reviews about the service of this venue but I thought we would be able to handle it. I was very mistaken. We really wanted this venue because it was outdoors and they allowed our dog to be at the wedding ceremony, we ultimately paid the price of discomfort in our special day and subjected to horrendous company policies, horrible communication and even worse customer service. Behind a beautiful venue is the wheeling and dealing and penny pinching management.

I contacted Chloe Gallery in consideration of hosting a large event there. The service was very poor, never asking about our preferences, never trying to overdeliver or impress in any way. Any suggestions I made to improve the planning and final result were met with resistance, extra surcharges etc. I have substantial professional experience in events management and the pre-events consulting experience raised a whole host of red flags. I shared this feedback candidly with the sales team and yet there was still no improvement in the attitude or service level. In the end I decided not to go ahead with the event at this location.
