it's a good area with laundramat next door and few good places central to everything . rooms are a bit small but provides the space needed . a bit noisy from the hallway

Not too happy with this suite. Very small. Shower has no curtain and soaks the marble floor. Very slippery and no bath mats. Bathtub and fixtures very cheap and not age or handicapped friendly. Cleaning people did not come every day. My pink cashmere sweater mysteriously disappeared. Would not recommend this place.

Came here for two days and it was exactly what I needed as a female solo traveler. There are about 5 rooms here that all connect to a hallway. The room is smaller than I expected. You can hear everything in the hallway outside your door. People coming and going and you can also see the light from under the door. My room wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it to be. Bed was a 6/10 in comfort level. Pillows 8/10. Towels 8/10. Location was great and the building felt safe. Shower 8/10 Overall 7/10

I messaged Gianluca a few days before arriving and asked if we were able to leave our bags in the reception area as we were due to arrive a few hours before the check in time. I received a reply advising this wasn't a problem and someone would meet us in the reception area when we arrived. Upon arriving it was a lovely surprise to find our room was ready early and we could check straight in. Massive relief knowing we didn't have to pull a heavy case to the closest bag drop facility! The room itself was clean and tidy with everything you would expect in a hotel room. I'm a light sleeper and don't usually sleep well in unfamiliar places but I slept all night! Location wise, we visited all the major monuments of Rome on foot. We chose this hotel as it's around 1KM from the Vatican, Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain and about 2KM from the Colosseum. It was a bonus to find we were also next to Castel Sant'Angelo. Overall, lovely place, great location and was very affordable. We would recommend Colonna 18 and Gianluca to anyone wanting to stay in Rome.
