American prices for location and safety. The rooms were adequate. The people at the front desk were very kind. The pool was definitely the star of the show. The attached restaurant is uninspiring in every way. It was a great place near the airport to stay for a night before getting out of Cancun for grander adventures.

Wanted an inexpensive place (here now), close to the airport, did not expect much, We booked the Marriott Bonvoy for a mere $80 US. It is important to note that they do not offer a free breakfast at that price. We were picked up at the airport via hotel shuttle (shared Transportation), driver was nice, tipped $15. We did get our own luggage rack, but after that we and our luggage were taken to our room, We believe that the driver told the bellman the we were people that tip, which might mean that your experience could be different, The room was super nice, good size and supper clean and modern, with a great two person shower. The room had a small fridge (empty) and safe, electrical plugs were US 110. There was no ironing board in the room. Went down to the bar, had 3 margaritas, chips with salsa and an order of chicken wings, bill was $52 in US Dollars, we paid in pesos with our credit card, came out to $42 US without tip. The grounds, pool, gym are more like a large resort, super nice, I could easily spend a week here. At night the grounds were stunning.. Based on the rate paid, 5 stars in my book.

We got scammed onsite by the staff. Booked 3 rooms on points with confirmation in the app and email. Staff would only honor one room. We asked them to call corporate and we did. 2 minutes later the guy on the phone who confirmed he seeMs we paid with points come walking from out back laughing. This horrible staff continued to say we meed to pay. My brother inlaw threw his card down so we could just get our rooms and go to bed. Next morning we go to the desk and the staff working at this time said yes” we see the staff last might canceled two rooms but we dont know why”! This was a nightmare and we still haven’t been refunded. Staff got busted in a scan and all they did was laugh at use because they knew we needed the room.

Wish I could say much, the room was nice, clean and the bed was comfortable. It did take a while for the A/C to cool the room down (over an hour) but when it did everything was fine. We basically just slept here as we got there at 9pm the night before our flight and we used their shuttle service for free at 4:30 to get to the airport. Prices were good as we booked in advance so keep that in mind as they change fast.
