We spent 4 nights at Crystal Sands, it was a good time. The hotel is nicely located, well-kept, very close to the marina, close to the beach and water attractions. Very nice service, willing to help. Our room overlooked the worse side, nothing interesting. So we only slept in the room. The problem with the air conditioning and shower was quickly solved, congratulations to the staff. Thank you Wilfred for your involvement. Food: standard but good and sufficient breakfast. We decided not to choose other meals from the hotel despite the display in front of the hotel because the menu did not attract us. I recommend

A small and decent boutique hotel opposite the Maafushi ferry terminal. The hotel itself gas a nice location and looking pretty from outside. All the hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. They offer good buffet breakfast and diner too.

Amazing staff - helpfull with arranging speed boats, trips, renting umbrellas, nothing was a problem to them. And the food, oh God! That was something! Every single dish was delicious. Bikini beach is very close, so is the harbour and shopping options. The room equipment is slightly outdated but the room is still comfy. We can´t wait to come back! :)

We were excited about staying at Crystal Sand hotel in a Deluxe Sea View Room, but when we got there, they gave us a different room with a view of the city. We complained to the manager, but he said they were full and could only offer us the city view room, which wasn't great—it had a view of small buildings and just a tiny bit of the sea far away which was hardly visible and the hotel manager calls it Sea View Room 🤣. Attaching image of the sea view room this hotel offers 🤣 We tried to get the room we booked, but the manager suggested canceling our booking for a refund or taking a room in another hotel that felt more like a hostel. After arguing for an hour, we gave up and settled for the cheaper, not-so-nice room. There's construction noise early in the morning next to the hotel. The food was okay, but they had almost the same menu every day. It's better to skip dinner there and go to a nearby restaurant accepting GPay and PhonePe. Also, there wifi is very slow can't send even a WhatsApp message properly. In summary, avoid this hotel if you want to enjoy your stay in the Maldives.

Please avoid this place for the next few months! There is construction noise which starts at 7 AM and the hotel says they can’t do anything about it! If you don’t want to wake up to hammering and electric wire sounds every morning then better to avoid this place! The staff throws attitude and aren’t even polite and intend to help out. Terrible experience staying here, I’m glad we’re here only for 2 nights or else my holiday would honestly be ruined!!
