Out of our 4 weeks in Japan this was one of the bookings we were the most nervous about. No place in Nagoya advertised "triple" or three beds, so this deluxe two bed room was the closest we could find. We made a note to take plenty of pictures and left our bags on the bed for scale so others could get a better idea of the size here. The hotel was a pleasant surprise, not only were the beds plenty big, but the TV was highly functional, they had a "channel" you could check on the washer/dryers with and breakfast was actually included (a first in 6 hotel stays). Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but they had your traditional Japanese staples such as rice, miso soup, natto, eggs and simple fruits/meats even kids can enjoy. We really did enjoy our two nights (three days) here. It was also steps from the train entrance and located on a shopping street to make it easy access. The only reason location gets 4 stars is due to it's proximity to tourist locations such as the science museum and tower. We ended up using a taxi (uber worked very well here and made it to the hotel door 3/3 tries) a little more than other locations for this reason.

Receptionist was arrogant and didn’t explain my questions. Instead, she kept saying “she is explaining” as if she was reading a book. In the mean time, she never responded to my needs. Very NOT so welcoming hotel I experienced in Japan.

The room is super tiny. And we had reserved a non-smoking room and yet we’ve got a room filled with cigarettes smell. Terrible experience and wont recommend to others.
