We stay in this hotel at the start and end of our 10 days trip. Our first stay were great, everything was fine. But at our 2nd stay, the room (in fact the whole floor) were way too warm. Feels like 28-30℃ in the room. Even we set the A/C to maximum it still blow only warm air. I complained to the front and they explain the AC system may have to switched into warm air mode and they could not adjust back into cool air. Finally we have to opened the window and borrowed a fan from the front desk. Quite disappointed about this.

It was the worst experience you could ever have!!! The only good thing of Koko is the location. CHECK IN Some front staff here can't speak Japanese well. It took you to ask them to repeat in order to understand what they are talking about. The instruction of check-in is not applicable. When I first arrived, many guests were waiting, and I couldn't even wait inside the hotel due to the bad arrangements. After waiting for 10min, since all the guests were still standing, I had to ask their staff if I should wait there, then they guided me to another counter for check-in. ROOM You could find many things in their room. Like hairs and stinks. Also they got refrigerator which not working, which their staff claims it is a function problem instead of not working. However, the refrigerator is in room temperature, you may be very interested which brand of refrigerator functions as at heater. Tho they offer another room after complain, where the refrigerator (another brand) showed the same function as a heater. Air conditioner is also available in their room, with only heater function, although it is December in Nagoya, you still can enjoy spa in Hotel room. Tbh, if only the Check-in problems, are still acceptable as a low cost hostel, however, when their staff mentioned the refrigerator is normal for the second room, but the coolness is the same as the first one. I would really wanna share such interesting experiences of my life.

Service and location was excellent. Rooms were a little small but for the price it's ok. The pillows are unfortunately way too thin and not comfortable leading to a lack of sleep.
