Daplace - Antica Casa Coppo

Very centric and near to everything important in Venice, and the inside of the hotel was very cool and had lots of Venice-style, BUT... Very bad experience at this hotel. Fortunately, it didn't affect our feelings for Venice. But it was a very bad hotel. The first day, we entered the hotel and it was flooded (and no Acqua Alta had visited the hotel). At least, it wasn't dirty water, but it arrived at our room. The room was full of mosquitos, crowded!! Not only alive mosquitos, but also mosquitos dead and crushed in the walls. Next day in the morning, someone's voice wake us up yelling: it was the voice of the receptionist/owner. She was complaining with one of the cleaners of one of these bad reviews in a very loudly way. We could hear that people in general don't like that the rooms were small and unclean, which is a true, and she was laughing of these clients opinions IN FRONT OF OUR ROOM VERY LOUDLY. Then, after we arrived from doing some tourism, we noticed that the service didn't changed our towels and they put them like they were new and clean ones. The next day, they didn't even put us new towels, but non type of towels: they weren't give us any!! And not only that, no soap also!! They forgot everything!! So, I decide to call the receptionist/owner (because there are no 24h reception) in order to get some towels. But... the telephone didn't work!! So I went to the reception looking for a telephone to contact her, and I called two times. No answer. But the best part is yet to come: a surveillance camera moved, pointed at me and she shouted at me through the camera: WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY DESK?! - she said. I explained the situation and told me where they storage the towels. The next day, at checkout time she didn't even looked at me. Non even a goodbye. That should not called a hotel. And above all, they should not have three stars. It's a hotel of one or two stars... If you want to call it like that.
