Great location, spacious and comfortable rooms, but mattresses are soft, bed linnen scratchy and pillows are lumpy. It all needs to be thrown out. Rates are very good and represent the value. Still a comfortable bed is no luxury. Be aware of what room to choose, because the bar downstairs is very noisy.

Furstenhaus apartments are good, with a small kitchen if you like to make your own meals. Kindergarten service is very good with 'teacher' to keep children and enjoy with activities (even outside if weather allows so) swimming pool and bubble pools are good and warm.

Love this hotel. Been back many times. Right in the centre. Good food, great leisure/spa facilities. Friendly staff. Rooms nice, but can get hot in the summer. Could use a fridge as well. Underground parking and car lift can be tight for the larger car. Fitted my E38 BMW 7 just…. The place is also a maze that for the first few days you will be finding new ways in and out . But love, will be back.

Unfortunately, this is not a hotel that cares for its guests. Booked directly on the hotel's website. At check in I was informed the booking didn't include breakfast which was news to me. Nowhere in my booking confirmation did it say that. Upon challenging that I was told I have no options as the hotel is 'fully booked'. Not true as it turned out, on the spot I went online and booked myself a room with breakfast for a lower price than my booking originally was. The staff at reception cared very little, spoke little English or German. Initially, they wanted to give me a half-board package as that's how confused they are. The room I was allocated was very, very dated and unattractive. No sign of a family hotel feel or care. I have been coming to Seefeld for the past 20 years and wanted to give this hotel a shot. There are many, many far better options around! Avoid the Kaltschmid hotel.
