Clean, comfortable rooms. Nice atmosphere. Exceptional staff. Tasty breakfast. The restaurant food was surprisingly delicious, especially the lasagna! It's rare for me to find a lasagna that I like unless I make it myself, but this blew my expectations out of the water! I wish there was some conditioner in the suites.

The fact that this is rated 3.5/5 is so wrong and ridiculous. I loved pretty much every single thing about this place. Absolutely easy 5/5. The room was massive with two large beds, very clean, super comfortable, and had a perfect private entrance. Gorgeous mountain views right out the door. Beautiful outdoor seating area. Great parking. Breakfast area looked very nice as well, and the staff member we dealt with was phenomenal. The price we paid for our stay was also pretty much impossible to beat. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Loved it. Was very impressed by the shower pressure (unheard of) and the perfect hot water. No waiting, instantly hot… with massive pressure. Incredible! The only thing I didn’t like is that the complimentary breakfast ends so early. So we missed it. But the staff member did give me some fruit from breakfast at checkout, which was nice.

Stayed here in mid august with the family on a road trip. Breakfast was pretty good. The pool and hot tub were great. View was awesome. Staff was good. Had pizza from the attached restaurant which was good and a great value. A tad pricey for my frugal behind but seemed competitive. Room was very large. Would stay again.

Well up date and a drop in star as a picture from my friend a few days later confirmed the hot tub issue was real. This is a get what you pay for type experience. If you need a lower rate option it may fit your needs, if you can spend a little more it may be worth looking elsewhere. We traveled over new years and pricing was very reasonable for that time with prices becoming lower online as the date of the trip approached. We opted to stay at the Motel given the pool/water slide, and included breakfast, as well as the fact friends of ours were staying there already. Booking was simple, check in and parking straightforward. The rooms and pool area were unfortunately a little less up to par. There was also house keeping that straightened up the beds and placed new ice bucket liners in the room after the frist night. The room was dark with minimal lighting, the microwave was intermittently functioning, minimal toiletries supplied, no fan in the shower/bathroom, finishings in the room itself were chipped, damaged, and showing signs of neglect. The Tv also only supported a few channels, and all were fuzzy or distorted. The pool area hand a fun water slide, however the water was not clear, the hot tub was hazy and had signs that the filter was not operating at optimal capacity as things were floating on the surface (hair, fuzz etc). There was also a predominant smell in the pool area that was not the typical chlorine, or cleaner smell. The potential is there but perhaps the routine maintenance and cleaning has fallen a bit. I opted out of using the hot tub or pool on the second day of our stay. The breakfast provided was on the lower end of options that I have experienced. That being said the second day was a bit better and options were fairly plentiful. I don't hang much on how good a "free breakfast" is but some places have ones that the kids and I are excited about and this was not one of them, but at least is a nice option to grab a bite before heading out. (Good, included breakfasts would include Mountaineer Lodge in Lake Louise, or Pocaterra Inn Canmore or which are in similar budget I have heard that Holliday in Express and Travellodge in Golden are also good.)

Very pleasantly surprised! This motel doesn't look like much on the outside, but at every turn it surprises! The rooms are well appointed with an ac, clean bathroom, and comfy beds. Ours had a small kitchenette which is great. The view is incredible!! Sweeping views over Golden and the mountains. Daily room service. An indoor pool with a big waterside (pool was a little chilly) and a good sized hottub. The restaurant on site serves a great buffet spread for the complimentary breakfast, and dinner was amazing! Great service, great wine, and great food. All around everything about this place has happily surprised me, would definitely stay again.
