Arrived on 1/7 to a speedy and fairly seamless check in, although I was a tad perplexed when the front desk agent mentioned that “I have this listed only for 1 person” because I gave our booking agent both my bff and my name and requested 2 beds. Nonetheless we were given our guys and escorted to our room. Upon arriving to our rooms we freshened up quickly and were leaving to do a bit of shopping (we were in the room less than 10 minutes). Upon leaving the room I jiggled the door handle (to ensure it was locked) and it opened…without a key! Tried it again…same thing! We then noticed the deadbolt has broken (see picture). We then locked the bottom lock (my sister locked it from the inside and I went outside to attempt to open the door without the key with the bottom lock engaged….THE DOOR OPENED! We went to the front desk and spoke to the same person checking us in and he stated “I’ll send the technician up to check the lock.” I requested another room as the deadbolt was also broken so I didn’t feel safe staying there. Another room was given. Upon changing rooms we then proceeded to leave (after checking the locks which operated properly). We stopped by the front desk to ask for directions to the shopping area and another gentleman (Erlan Islak) was at the front desk being briefed on the situation by the gentleman that escorted us to the second room (the gentleman that had been helping us wasn’t there). I offered to show him the video that we took, after reviewing the video he offered to upgrade our room (same room but a higher floor), we agreed and left to grab a bite to eat (I was shaken up by the lock incident and no longer in the mood to shop)…again, this lock worked properly. The only other noteworthy thing about this hotel is that according to one worker the room temperature is controlled “by a computer downstairs” although there’s a thermostat in the room. He mentioned this after we commented that each room thermostat was set to “27 degrees Celsius” that’s 80.6 degrees Fahrenheit. He stated “I’ll have someone call in 10 minutes to make the adjustments.” After 20 minutes without a follow up we called back and was told to “Open the window” which did indeed help cool the room but because the hotel is located near a highway the noise made sleeping nearly impossible for me. After paying for my stay, upon checkout I was stopped from leaving by Ebru and Okan ( front desk staff) stating that I hadn’t paid for my stay, they caused a scene. It was resolved once I showed my credit card statement…it was humiliating the way I was treated. After they resolved their error I was offered coffee and tea, but declined, the damage had been done.

The rooms are clean,the staff are friendly and help directly. Breakfast has wide variety . I would also like to thank ms Nagehan she is polite and helpful .
