Very nice boat, lovely crew, really good food. Only negative was the presidential suite is next to the engine exhaust, so noise and smell makes it less desirable. But thanks to Michael from the reception team, who was always there to help with anything and made the whole experience one to remember. He has gone above and beyond his duties. We would certainly recommend it, just go for the standard room as it was not worth spending the extra money on having a balcony we did not use at all.

I truly enjoyed myself on the Doris Cruise to Ha Long Bay. All of the staff was professional and friendly. My homeboy Raymond started and ended the experience with his big smile, great personality and positive energy during the round-trip transport. Our tour guide Dat was very knowledgeable and entertaining, he shared lots of cool facts about the area and history. The food was good. Tam was my server the entire time and she was amazing, kind, attentive and funny!!!! My room and the views exceeded my expectations! I would definitely recommend cruising with Doris.

We did the 2 night/3 day cruise for Christmas Eve - Boxing Day and had a very special time. The crew made us feel part of the family and put on a real show on Christmas Eve to celebrate. Thank you for the games that took place that evening we loved it! So so glad we did 2 nights as it gave us time to relax and enjoy the views and the boat. The stop on the 2nd day at Viet Hai island was very pleasant and we enjoyed our trip on the electric car. Kayaking was really fun. The water was a tad cold as we went in December but the scenery was spectacular. We’d recommend this cruise to anyone. We had the standard room and it was huge. I’m sure the upgrades are even more special but we felt no need. Balcony was great overlooking the bay. Food was good and the buffet each evening was delicious. Something for everyone and if you don’t find anything staff seemed happy to cook up other things. Cooking class was fun. Bar on board reasonably priced. Cocktails are 3 for 2 during happy hour.

Amazing cruise, we opted for the 2 day option and it was perfect! There is a full schedule for both days and announcements in all the rooms when activities start. The staff were outstanding and helped with everything. We had the honeymoon suite and the room came with flowers and a cake! Also the kayaking was brill. The only downsides I can think of is that the balcony divider was see through so it is not that private. Also I thought the jacuzzi would be warm but it was freezing, but these are only minor details.
