I would personally not stay here again. It was a decent hotel, but I felt it was not worth the money. The staff was kind and respectful. No concerns from them. I felt that there was a nickel and dime aspect about the hotel. Parking was $20/day, breakfast was $18.95, ect. I was visiting from out of town, so I don’t know if this is common with Atlanta. The TV in my room was nice. It did have the traditional amenities, but I did have a worn out feeling. My room had a horrible banging noise in it all night. It was almost light there was a mechanical room next to me that I could hear all night. The hotel seemed a bit dirty. The elevator felt/sounded like it was going to break down. It had trash, bottles, and stains on the floor. The location was decent with no major concerns. Overall I would probably only stay here again if every other hotel was sold out. I feel like it has the right potential, but it’s currently operating at that level.

Our experience was horrible!! On 12/10/23 we came into town to catch an international flight on 12/11/23. We were given our room key to check in all went well at front desk until we get to our room. First thing, I go to use the restroom noticed the lid was down which normally hotel typically don’t have a lid on toilet but anywho. When lifted using tissue to protect my hand the toilet was backed up with poop all the way to the top almost to run over. As if that was not enough the sheets and pillow cases were not clean. Immediately my husband and I left this room to complain and be moved to another room. This room was fine but there was no hot water to take a shower and there were never any signature cookies that this hotel has always been know for fresh chocolate chip cookies. I have always been a double tree fan and have stayed at several in different states and stayed at another location in Atlanta and it was top tier but this is totally unacceptable. I know people may still come and rent rooms but as the owner of this particular branch we lease make improvements. I get it maybe understaffed or money maybe and issue but there has got to be something or honestly do the work yourself. Trust me you would not want to experience rooms like this. There may be some who have not had a bad experience but from the number of negative comments there is an issue

DO NOT STAY HERE! Had better experiences at roadside motels. We recently booked two (non-refundable) stays as we had overnight layovers in Atlanta. On our first visit, we planned on eating at the advertised restaurant and didn’t purchase food prior to arriving. The restaurant appears to have been closed for some time and nothing was available for purchase at the time (not even bottled water). We couldn’t even drink the tap water because only the hot faucet was working and it tasted off. We probably shouldn't have come back but had already paid in advance. Our second visit was even worse. When we arrived the elevator area stank of marijuana and the buttons were not responding. When we asked the front desk for assistance, they seemed annoyed to have to help and was more interested in playing with their phone. Once the elevator functioned we shared it with a delivery driver as they appear to have disabled the security and let non-guests up to the rooms. The room itself was dirty and had significant wear and tear. The curtain was broken and could not be closed adequately so we had to change in the bathroom to have any privacy. There was also only one towel and it was visibly soiled, looked almost as if someone had been eating chips and wiped their hands on it. We ended up not wanting to shower anyway because there was no hot water at all! We shared the airport shuttle the next morning with several Delta airline employees who all shared they did not have hot water either. This includes a gentlemen who was in town for a job interview! Imagine traveling all that way for such an important event and not even being able to properly shower! I have no idea about the common or employee areas but I seriously hope the staff aren’t handling the cookies if they aren’t properly washing their hands!
