The rooms were good but the service was lacking. The bartender was having a really bad day and the desk attendant was flat out rude. The room was adequate but was only equipped with 2 was cloths and 2 towels although I advised there would be 2 adults and 1 child staying in the room.

The rooms are fairly nice. The big problem is that this place smells like weed. The hallways and the rooms. They do seem to pump some scent through the hallways, so the smell changes from old-person perfume to weed on an hourly basis. Breakfast isn’t buffet. It’s a lady who doesn’t seem very keen to provide breakfast, and the portions are like end-or-world rations, with zero understanding of allergies (dairy). Definitely not a place a pilot should go while in Atlanta.

Arrived on a Wednesday and everything was great. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Woke up Thursday morning to our car being broken into along with three others. We were parked near the front door! Found out after the police were called that seven cars had been broken into the previous weekend. Not one mention of this when we checked in. The cleaning of rooms was supposed to happen every other day, but never occurred at all! Skipped our rooms! When we called down, the clerk said that due to being short staffed we had to come down and get our own towels and toilet paper. The hotel has potential, but I could not imagine choosing to stay here again!

I was originally going to rate this stay higher, but it just isn’t what it should be when it comes down to it, and it’s all because of the staff. The best way to describe them is being really nonchalant. They really give off the impression that they don’t care much about their job and are easily inconvenienced by guests. The checkin process was fine, as my room was ready upon arrival and I was able to get in, but I had to ask for water when the guest in front of me was asked about if they wanted any. Not sure why that was the case, especially being a Diamond member. The phone in the room is apparently for show, as it wasn’t labeled. It would have been great to be informed about having to physically come down to place an order in the restaurant. Speaking of, my F&B credits weren’t applied upon checkout, and the front desk made it seem like it was my fault for checking out on the app. No apology, just ‘my manager will have to take care of it’ talk. Ordering was okay. Again, attitude is everything, and it was clear the lady working the bar was not having a good day, and it was both evenings. There was even someone there pestering guests and anyone walking around for a lighter for his cigarette. The room was good for the most part, but the bathroom had issues. The toilet was physically hard to flush and I had to lift the tank lid a couple of times. The shower door kept sliding open. The walls can be paper thin too with me hearing guests outside on the phone and watching TV. I hate to be critical, but at the same time this isn’t the standard that Hilton is known for. The only way they get better is with this feedback. I’d give them another shot, but the staff improving their attitude will go a long way for this spot.
