It's a step up from a hostel. Actually it is a hostel with privacy, you can't really call it a hotel. Location is good, close to earl's court station with a supermarket and lots of places to eat near by and that's all. It's not dirty but not clean either. Need and sheets looked clean, but the room needs a good cleaning and maintenance. You can spot mold in the shower, dirt on the doors and walls, hungers that won't hold anything. Lots of steps no elevator. No breakfast. No services at all. It's just a bed with a shower in a tiny tiny room that you haven't even got a place to lace your shoes. No toiletries just a generic liquid shop for everything. Two huge towels and one for your feet. You can't really get a proper shower too clean yourself, but not water is always available. The people in the reception (let's call it that) were polite but they really can't do much: just check you in and out. I asked about getting some saline solution but (I'm not sure they understood what i wanted), no info were given on where to buy. Over all, you can get a lot more just for a few pounds more in the same area and style. It doesn't worth the trouble.

Me and my partner stayed here last year, we understood what to expect when we got there, so we thought... When people are saying the rooms are tiny, that's not an over reaction, me and my partner had to squeeze past each other all the time, you literally open the door, take one step in the room and there's your bed, that's the room. I've never been to the toilet with the door shut yet felt so close to my partner, if you sat on the toilet your feet were in the shower. The price was good for the area, but next time, we will pay a higher price for a different hotel, worse hotel I have experienced.

Positives Location great and it was cheap. Bed was comfy. Negatives Room very worn and small. Bed surrounded by walls and tiny shower/toilet room Extremely hot, I had to go buy a fan so I could sleep... In January... Shower either boiling or cold. Sheets clean but duvet very stained. Had to carry suitcase up 6 flights of stairs. The fire safety is also non existent. I was on third floor and no fire escape other than the stairs. So if fire on lower floor you are dead.

The rooms are tiny. Not even room to put shoes under the bed. The shower was too small. There was a window that would not open, so we had a lot of condensation. But the worst thing of all is that a member of staff called Israel awoke us in the morning and accused us of smoking in the room because the fire alarm panel went off apparently. I then asked him why the fire alarm didn't go off in our room. He said it's because we have removed the batteries. Later on I went to the reception to talk again and he accused me further of smoking weed. Is this guy for real? You can't accuse your customers like that. Awful service. Awful experience.

It's overall a fine hotel but with a few flaws. WiFi: Being in the basement 4g signal was terrible and WiFi was only just usable for watching YouTube at 480p, any more and it'd buffer. Staff: the one staff member I saw at the check in desk wasn't unfriendly but spoke quietly and was difficult to communicate with, his English wasn't all that good. Check the other sections for more details. I'd only recommend this for a short stay in London of 1 or 2 nights and a stay where you plan to be out all day. I personally stayed for 1 night. I checked in around 9pm, dropped of my bags and went to the loo before going to the pub for a drink and some food and I came back around 11:30 pm and went to sleep within the hour. In the morning I got up at 7:30 and was out the door in about 15 minutes and went straight to Gregg's for breakfast. This is how I'd recommend using this hotel, as bed and nothing else the room environment isn't all that nice. If treated correctly at less than £50 per night you'll be getting good value, any cheaper and you'll be in a hostel saying goodbye to your privacy and your sanity. The other alternative is staying somewhere like Milton Keynes but although the easyhotel property there is much nicer you'll be spending around £10-£20 extra and an hour on the train to London. It'd end up being be the same price or more expensive but you'd lose a good couple hours of your time.
