Nice, but no WiFi, no one at front office you had to call up and we had a flat phone so had to wait, and at the end of Lake St definitely too far for walking

Management was extremely accommodating when additional units were required at short notice. Units were clean, comfortable and central to everything we needed to enjoy 10 days in the city. The complex is secure and quiet. Other guests and permanent residents were very cordial. The pools were clean and having a choice between two meant that one was always available. Car parking was available in the secured assigned area of the car park with plenty of additional parking surrounding the complex. Will stay again.

Absolutely appalling for the amount charged. First off the management was no where near what was expected; took over 24 hours for a couple of extra towels, randoms that weren’t residents skinny dipping in the pools & using leisure facilities with no repercussions from the caretaker. Main air conditioner in living room was mouldy, both showers had plumbing issues with hot water so most the stay was cold showers. The master bedroom toilet leaked, tiles were not flush on floor so a few stubbed toes was a reoccurring problem, and the single beds in the 2nd bedroom were the most uncomfortable beds to sleep on. Next, the stove took over 30 minutes to heat up and the dishwasher would only turn on once in a blue moon if you were lucky. That sums up my stay at edge apartments, I am absolutely disgusted and they will never be getting our business again.

OVER PRICED AND UNDER SERVICED Two friends and i stayed here for a week in October. The place is very VERY basic, think cheap caravan cabins! For the 1500 we paid, i think it is unacceptable to have cheap facilities, and poor service. For an extra couple of hundred we could have had a 5 star hotel on the beach front. Think twice before booking as there is ZERO wifi in the rooms so you will have to use up your plan data (free wifi only available in the reception area) and if you have kids, there’s no Netflix or anything in the rooms. Bed was totally uncomfortable, hard, springy and cheap bedding. Dusty and not relaxing. After early starts daily and long days exploring around Cairns, a comforting sleep is essential. You won’t get that here! Showers and bathrooms need an update badly, leaks and poor ventilation. Carpets were old and stained. Location is a bit of a walk to the main part of town (20-30 mins walk) with no supermarket so you will need a hire car. If you don’t mind really basic, it probably won’t bother you so much, but if you want a bit more luxury, you’re gonna have to spend more for that! Place is good for young travellers who just like to dump their stuff and spend little time in their accommodation. But if that’s you, save your money and book a backpackers! They’re great in Cairns!
