The AC is not cool, but other than that it was excellent, the reception even let me checking early🤩

Great welcome upon arrival, was also given a rundown of places of interest in Istanbul before being shown to my room. The walls are quite thin and it was therefore quite easy to hear conversations through them. Not ideal if you're handi-capable as the hotel is based at the bottom of several steep hills and all the rooms are accessed by stairs. Would happily stay there again if going back for another short trip; not the best ever but very nice and welcoming, aka cheap and cheerful.

The owner tried to move us to another rm despite having been in our airbnb booked room for more 10 days fully paid with two days more to go. This was very unkind of him to double book my room. Cleanliness is not up to standard. Linens (yellowish spots) are rarely changed and cleaned. The guys is interested in money but doesn't deliver as per his picture in airbnb. Still pissed at him. He is unprofessional and unethical. Plus the reception is ever empty. If you (foreign tourist) have no local sim card it because hard to reach him in case emergency! THINK TWICE!
