I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ocean Drive Hotel in Barcelona, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality that made me feel right at home in the heart of this vibrant city. What truly sets the Ocean Drive Hotel apart, though, is its exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate every need, offering personalized recommendations that enhanced my visit. Their professionalism and kindness were apparent in every interaction, making my stay incredibly pleasant. It was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. Right from the start, I was warmly welcomed, and I couldn't help but notice the striking beauty of the female assistants at the hotel. Their charm and elegance added an extra layer of delight to my stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The quality of craftsmanship and materials in the hotel is commendable. Its location is convenient, and one of the highlights is the parking facility. Not only is it adequate, but it also includes electric vehicle charging, which is a significant plus, especially for me as an electric car user. This inclusive service adds value, considering the reasonable pricing of the stay. However, my experience was marred by some service issues. The absence of a phone reservation system was surprising and inconvenient. The online booking system was not operational, leading to frustration and a complicated check-in process at the reception. Although the staff were able to eventually resolve the situation, there were additional mishaps. A well-intentioned apology in the form of a complimentary gift was mistakenly delivered to the wrong room. Furthermore, when the hotel tried to rectify this with a bottle of champagne, it was an inappropriate gesture for me as a non-drinker. The room itself was beautifully designed with an excellent view of the Sagrada Familia. Nevertheless, practical aspects were overlooked, such as the absence of cups near the coffee machine and the need for a bottle opener for the water. Working table had an internet-socket with no internet in it… In summary, while the hotel boasts impressive quality and facilities like excellent parking for electric vehicles, the service and attention to detail in guest experience could be improved.

Highly recommend!!!! One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at before. Exceptional service. Amenities were very nice, thoughtful touches in the room. Perfect location. Within walking distance of great restaurants, sights, and restaurants. Felt very safe and streets were very clean. Located near a church bell but the sound proofing was great and never bothered us. Hotel arranged taxi service for us when we left. If we return to Barcelona we will return to Ocean Drive and we will recommend to everyone we know traveling here!!

Superb hotel, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Beautifully designed rooms. We had room 218 for a week which was very quiet (as requested) and benefitted from an extra window. Staff were helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect, close to main attractions, many restaurants and in a safe neighbourhood. Interesting and delicious breakfast options, although we only ate once as we like to sample local places. Personal touches like the edible treats and handwritten notes on our first and last nights made our stay extra memorable. We had a fantastic holiday in Barcelona, so many things to see and do from our base, this wonderful hotel.

First of all, it should be known that this hotel, even though it claims to be a five-star establishment, is not truly one. If you enjoy a peaceful environment, do not come here. The hotel is situated along one of Barcelona's major avenue (Arago) with 5 lanes of traffic, but no one thought to properly soundproof the rooms. As a result, day and night, you feel like you're above a highway. We were offered an alternative room, but it was even worse. There is also no sound isolation between the rooms; you literally live with your neighbors (next door, above). It's a shame because the hotel is beautiful, the rooms are well decorated, and the staff (especially the breakfast staff) is friendly and pleasant. The hotel is also very well located.
