2023.10.20 - the shuttle to/from JFK was reliable, both coming from the airport and going to the airport. I used the service for 2 different layovers and both times the shuttle was great. The hotel staff (Emily in particular) was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was fine, but microwaved scrambled eggs and sausage patties. My room 420 was clean and spacious. The neighborhood feels a bit rough but I had no issues walking to and around the nearby park on a sunny afternoon.

We arrived a day after the big storm in NY, at night. The shuttle service worked perfectly. The check in was very quick and because of the storm a little corner of our room had the floor a little humid. They were very helpful and they provided some sheets to put on the floor. The beds were really comfortable and also the shower. Breakfast was really good and varied. I may say that the best asset this hotel has is their personnel, from the front desk to the lady in the Breakfast room Everybody was really accommodating. We rested one night before our flight and it was exactly what we needed.

A decent option for a park and sleep airport hotel. The rooms are new and clean, the staff is friendly, and we got a good deal for a week's worth of parking with only a one night stay. The only downside is that the shuttle does not pick you up at the terminal--you have to take the tram outside the airport and then wait for the bus. We decided to Uber from the TWA Hotel by terminal 5 back to the hotel - it saved about 20 minutes.

I had a very bad experience at the hotel due to an incident with the shuttle service. They have very little control over the luggage each passenger carries. In my case, they placed my suitcase in the shuttle along with a bunch of other suitcases from another passengers, and when we arrived at the airport, my suitcase was no longer there. They lost my suitcase, and the worst part is that the hotel has not yet responded for this loss. It has been five days, and my suitcase is still lost. The responses from the staff have been, to say the least, very evasive, and the manager has not contacted me yet to provide any solution or compensation. Considering the lack of responsibility and consideration for the customer, I do not recommend staying at this hotel.
