AC/Heater wasn't working in my room at all. The room is spacious, even for a single room. The bathroom is okay, it's not the most spacious but there's enough room. However the hot water on the tap is hard to use - there are two faucets for hot/cold and you have to adjust it manually. It took me a while to get used to it and I scalded myself several times. The location is great, super near Shimbashi and Ginza. Service was also pretty good with rooms cleaned daily and staff quick to respond via the phone.

It was the very first time I have NOT been greeted by staff when walking into reception. The paunchy older man just looked at us and said.. passports? Very odd for Japan. All other staff we dealt with were lovely. Our initial room was a smoking room so the next morning we asked to be moved and this was not a problem for the lovely female staff member. No view from the small window, just a view of some ugly back stairs. The hotel is older but very clean and rooms are 22sqm. The hotel is a 5-10 min walk from Shimbashi station which is very convenient. The beds were hard as were the pillows. The bed covers are old fashioned and I can't understand why the hotel does not just change them to something more modern. The plastic unit bathroom was small but fine with a step up to get into so no good for someone with mobility issues..Bath was bigger than most unit baths in Japan. A few "mens clubs" around and touts on corners. Also have to say very quiet. We did not hear other guests at all or noises outside except fire engines.

The rooms is spacious, enough to open two luggages. It is clean and tidy. My trip is mid-June, The air conditioner works well. Staff services is as good as other hotels in Japan. There are Donki and supermarket nearby, the toy shop next to the hotel is good for my child to spend his time. It is 5-10min walk from Shimbashi station, and many good restaurants near the station. The room price is reasonable.

Nice and affordable hotel. I stayed by muself and ecerything was fine. Reception is bot on the ground floor, tou have to take the elevator but it's not a problem. Location is perfect, its steps away from Ginza and all the shopping facilities (the Uniqlo flagship worldwide shop is just a few blocks away from there). It is also close to train stations and you can easily move around Tokyo from there. There is a Sushi place nearby which is very affordable and nice. The staff was very kind and I left my luggage for a few hours there. I didn't see any breakfast options there.
