room was pretty fancy and functional, but be careful about their late check in packages, because they're pretty strict about those times. highly recommend shelling out a little more for 6pm check in and breakfast if it's not too much more. hotel is a moderate distance away from the station so be prepared for a small trek.

Hands down the best private hot spring I’ve ever been to. We went on weekdays but still have to wait an hour for the onsen room, it was the standard room but I was surprised how clean and well maintained the room is. Hot and strong spring water. The price is very affordable as well. We only pay around 1200$. Will definitely come back!

Exercise caution when booking this hotel through Agoda. Despite reserving a month in advance, we were informed at 3 pm on the day itself that check-in is limited to 11 pm. Adding to the disappointment, the receptionist suggested a check-in option at 8 pm for an extra NTD 600, a practice unfamiliar to us. Feeling dismayed, we contacted Agoda for assistance. After Agoda contacted the hotel and spoke with the manager, the hotel finally agreed to refund us. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially as we had been looking forward to a weekend getaway in Beitou with the anticipation of enjoying a private hot spring facility.
