This is a famous hot spring resort in Taipei, and this is my first & last time to stay here. Front desk are unprofessional lack of training and non passionate, I'm disappointed with all of the services here. First time encountering a hotel where you need to book your slot 7 to 8am , 8 to 9am or from 9 to 10am for breakfast. This hotel is aged ,old and the bathroom is pretty dirty. Air conditioning running very loud and noisy in room. The flooring is slippery and the pool is dirty. The key point of this hotel is the dirty outdoor pool. If you want to use the outdoor pool, its recommended to book another better hotel and Book/pay for the pool. Strongly not recommended for the price you’re paying and the service you’re receiving. 5 star hotel with a 0.5 conditions!

A nice and affordable getaway in the Spring city of Beitou. Getting there was a bit of a journey from Taipei city which took about an hour, but it was still quite easy to get there. There were many different bathing pool to choose from which was a pleasant experience, because it wasn’t too crowded on a weekday afternoon. If you’re not too sensitive about having other people in the same pool as you, it can be very pleasant and other than would recommend. There are also private bath that you can go to as well.

*Public Hot Spring Visit only* for the price you’ll get a shower cap, towel and a shower cap as well as a locker. The hot springs are nice with varying temperatures from around 20-44 degrees Celsius. A nice waterfall pool and communal bubble pools are relaxing and the surroundings have trees and vegetation. From one of the patios you can see down the valley. It’s not the most luxurious or sparkling thing ever, but it’s definitely good value for money if you need to relax. It can get a little hard to find a spot in the busy periods, but they usually pass. My only complaint is that the high temperature pool was a little small for the demand! Waterfall showers were cool! There is an hourly shuttle bus back to Xinbeitou or Beitou MRT.

This place is indeed something special and undoubtedly one of the highlights of our Taiwan trip. Open until 10 pm, it depends on how much time you have. If you have half a day, I'd recommend going one hour before sunset; otherwise, spend 2-4 hours in the evening when it's already dark. There are several options available; we booked ours via Klook. Check out the options there: exclusive SPA, private SPA, or just the entrance to the general SPA (which is already quite luxurious!). You can also add an optional meal, which is probably pretty nice too. They also have a rooftop pool with a great view over the city. To my understanding, it's only included in the so-called Pavilion Club, which is also the most expensive option. So, make sure you have the whole day to fully enjoy it.
