Rooms were spacious and clean. Location isn’t close to the Taipei main station but it’s okay since I did pick it knowing where it was located. Good thing it was close to bus and train station so it’s not too big of a deal. Great service and the front desk was very nice and accommodating.

I am a LifeTime Platinum and Titanium member of Marriott Bonvoy. When checking in, I asked for an upgrade room, the front desk supervisor, Howard, asked me to pay 2500 NT/ night (around $80 USD/night) for the upgrade. Due to their cancellation policy, I had to stay two nights and move to another hotel. The breakfast buffet is the one of the worst buffet. When I was checking out, I asked the front desk to send a cart to my room, and the front desk clerk said "come and get it". After a short negotiation, the front desk finally pushed a cart to me (a senior citizen from the USA). I worked for the hospitality industry for more than 20 years but I have not seen a hotel like this before.
