        A few weeks ago we stayed at the grand yavus. The hotel was really warm and comfortable, the rooms were lovely and the location was good - not great but we enjoyed the surroundings nonetheless. The service however, was terrible. Upon arrival we had the worst service at the front desk, no greeting extremely unhelpful. We had a paraplegic person with us and had to move him ourselves - not wheelchair friendly, the lift is extremely small. We ended up taking the stairs. Nobody assisted us with our bags. The breakfast was average , nothing amazing and the service at the breakfast was just as bad. The next day when we left we had 2 older men who tried to help us move to the next hotel and we were thankful for that compared to the horrible young concierge we had the night before. Since this is a stopover hotel for Turkish airlines, they really need to work on their hospitality considering they'll get visitors from around the world. While the stay was comfortable the service left a bitter taste in my mouth and I definitely won't be back.

        I enjoyed my stay at the Grand Yavuz Hotel. There was especially one staff member who was extremely friendly and helpful. I arrived early and he allowed me to go to breakfast and check in at 8am, then they also allowed me for a late checkout at 2pm. For that alone it is worth staying here. The breakfast was amazing, so many veggies options, all fresh, nothing frozen or fried, and I ended up buying the cheese I tried there. One cons is that they do not allow non-guest - even family members, to come to the room. Location is also top as you can walk to the main tourist sites.

        The only thing good about this place is the location. We stayed 2 nights through the Turkish airline program and our stay wasn’t pleasant. The front desk was extremely rude to us while checking out. The rooms are very very small. We left our luggage at the airport but there was no space with just our carry on in the room. The breakfast was same both days, no variation.

        Location is great, but if you prepay for this hotel, get ready to be disappointed. All the rooms aren't made the same. You should ask to see the room, then pay. We got a tiny room with the smallest bathroom. The breakfast was OK. It had a good quantity of items, but quality was terrible. The dinner was even worst. It was laughable.
