A wonderful, new addition to the London 5* hotels landscape, tucked away in a quiet street just off Trafalgar. The building is rich in history, the decor reflects the heritage of the location - I’ve rarely been at hotels where every single piece of decor / furniture has a story or meaning. The location is, of course, absolutely perfect to explore beautiful London. And the staff especially at reception is attentive and kind. What more could you ask?

Modern hotel with old world charm, this London boutique Hyatt has a cute ambiance from the lobby through the halls. As a frequent traveler for work to Europe, I know finding hot and strong water pressure is rare and I was pleasantly surprised that GSY fulfilled these requirements with a nice big shower and a towel warmer too. One frustration was that the rooms are not equipped for business travelers who need to get a little work done: there was no chair with a back, just little stools and the power outlets were far from the little table. Supposedly they have room service but no menu to be found. Perhaps the hotel is more geared towards tourists given its location. Overall a nice stay and I would go back.

We had an amazing stay here over the weekend. Shirley was our host at check in and she was amazing, super friendly and even sent us a card congratulating us on our engagement. Very thoughtful touch a that made our stay even better. The hotel has a good gym, amazing rooms with good sized beds with great bathroom facilities. Room service from the on-site restaurant was also very good and didn’t disappoint with the classic Fish n Chips. The staff are all friendly and greet you on the way through. Hard to beat the location being in the centre of town a short walk to all major London attractions make this great for day tripping around. The entrance is also on a quiet street which is nice especially during the recent protests. 5/5

Overall this is a very cool hotel with great location, tastefully themed decoration and great service. The only shortcoming is the room isn't equipped for work trip as it lacks any real work desk or any usable desk in some of the rooms. The room is sufficient by London standards and nicely decorated. The shower has consistent hot water, which is nice to have given this is an old building. The minibar is free to use, which is a very nice surprise. The breakfast seems to be free for all guest, it offers a made to order dish and a decent buffet spread for cold items. Hotel staffs are very friendly. Another surprise is they offer laundry service by bag, which cost 25 pounds, which is super cheap compare to normal hotel prices. For location, it's in the middle of tons of landmarks, but the street in front of the hotel is never busy, so it's kind of nice to get out of the quite street and immediately walk into tourist host spots. I would definitely stay at the hotel again in the future for personal trip.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! We loved every minute of our regrettably-short one-night stay here. The hotel smells heavenly of sandalwood & vanilla. The hotel staff are beyond professional and caring and the rooms are gorgeous with the highest level of amenities. The shower is glorious with the best water pressure and gorgeous decor everywhere. And the breakfast buffet was extremely satisfying. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! We will be back.
