We love staying here. It feels more like an AIRBNB experience where you stay in someone’s home. You can tell the owners take pride in their inn and are constantly working on the property. There is so much charm here. The office is closed on the weekends but they’re readily available when needed. We requested a couple wash cloths and they kindly replaced all towels. I love having a kitchenette and full sized fridge. The pool is clean and surrounding ground are lush with foliage. It’s a short walk to the beach, several restaurants, and the water taxi. It is not a sterile five star hotel. The furniture is older and the grout isn’t spotless if you care about that. I would recommend bringing bug spray and a new kitchen sponge. We had everything we needed and both slept very well.

It’s a solid motel. The owner really cares and it’s quiet if you like that kinda thing. For a spring break I would stay away as it’s always elderly here. They gotta late night shift guy named Joe who just has quarrels with people over stuff. Its price is fair and it’s clean but it’s hours and Joe really dragged this place down for me

This place was very quirky , comfortable and quiet. It's being renovated at the moment so lots of work going on but we did not get disturbed. The pool area is clean and we basically had it all to ourselves. The shops are within walking distance we found some bars and restaurants too. About 8-11 minutes up the main road left. On the opposite side of the main road is the beach beautiful with plenty of room. If you like it a little busier you may need to catch the number 11 bus to olas boulevard or get some kind of transportation it's a little far to walk.

11/18/22 Just checked in.. my vfirst impression is this place is a gem. An older motel, smartly decorated, with a kitchenette to boot. Was greeted at the office, check in was quick and easy. Gabriella then escorted us to the room and did a quick inspection, to make sure everything was done correctly (it was). Room was VERY clean. Pool area is nice, and just steps away from the rooms. There is a nice fenced in tropical garden that you can also enjoy. Parking is free 11/20. Check out was easy. Again, Gabriella came by to make sure our stay was enjoyable. This is a definite "Return To" motel. My first impressions were spot on. We had an enjoyable stay, very quiet and safe. The room was excellent. What this place is NOT.. it's not the Hilton or Marriott... it isn't a sterile designed, cookie cutter room. No room service, no concierge or turn down service.. but you also aren't paying 250 to 400.00 a night! The Green Island Inn is worth every penny they charge and then some. A block from the beach.. cross a1a and walk another few hundred feet. Eateries all around, some within walking distance. And just about any cuisine you could want is nearby. Clean, quiet rooms. Nice pool area. BBQ grills to use and a kitchen with a 4 burner stove and oven. THANK YOU for the wonderful stay! Looking forward to returning next time we visit southern Florida.
