I hesitate to share this review because I want to always be able to get a room here and if I tell you how wonderful it is, it may be fully booked! The location can’t be beat. It’s literally a 7 min walk with luggage from the train station. There are handicapped ramps the entire way so it’s easy to roll your suitcase. Although the hotel is on the 2nd floor, Mario carried everything up for me. The hotel is clean and safe, my two requirements as I am a single woman traveling alone. Mario and his partner Veronica are incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful. The kitchenette area in the common area is a wonderful addition. Coffee tea and a small fridge are available to all. To top everything off, these are some of the most reasonably priced rooms in Rome. I have stayed there twice now and will continue to make Relais Indipendeza my preferred hotel in Rome.

We were so lucky to find Mario’s place for our stay in Rome. Rooms were beautiful and very clean, same for the bathroom. The location was perfect too. The host was very helpful and shared all his recommendations with us, available at any time. Ideal place for a couple. Beautiful, cozy, clean and affordable. Highly recommend!
