I will start with the good, very supportive staff and pleasant approach. Great location! On the dismal side: (i) Facilities are poorly maintained - the key was not working. The status remained same even when we left the digikey and returned back after few hours. The staff were very supportive to fix, (ii) There are no locks for bedrooms in the suite we took (iii) Washroom showers are of low quality, water heaters are not good enough to serve both washrooms same time (v) Parking availability is a concern when we try to park in the night as they don't reserve any parking for guests.

Everything is good and well maintained,but they are not allowing us to take pic or video. As people are wasting there money for relaxing and making there moment memorable, they should allow all this stuff

Good hotel and great location. Close to the Harbor, Malls and Corniche. Extremely kind and friendly staff. Nice breakfast options for the price. The music is a bit loud sometimes but it's okay if you book a room in 2nd floor. Ac is cold and the bathrooms are clean. Safe environment for female solo travellers. Building is a bit old but neat. The rooms are spacious and clean. Strong wifi all day long all around the hotel. However the bedding, sheets and pillow cases could use an upgrade. They're worn off and stained. Tv is old and channels don't work well. Overall it's a decent place to stay in Bahrain! worth the money. 3.75/5

The staff, from reception to room boys and in the restaurant are very kind and courteous . They have welcoming smile. I like the buffet. It’s delicious. The room rate is very affordable. Mr Tashi the Manager is very accommodating on what I need. He even gave me discount and upgrade my room. Surely I will come back to Gulf Gate Hotel, one of the best hotel in Manama Bahrain. I am recommending the hotel to my friends❤️
