We booked the biggest room expecting to have a lovely relaxing weekend. As soon as we came in we noticed that the bed was covered in hair, pillows with stains, the toilet had a protective tape with writing: disinfected but when we lifted the seat there were literal pubes as well as in the bidet. The sink also had hair. the floors were very dusty. The rug was dirty. The patio terrace had cigarette ashes and a lot of mold. We had no bath robes or slippers or hair drier as it states on their website. We reported the issues and received a phone call from the manager apologizing for the inconvenience. When we returned to the room I found the same stains, and inside of the pillows were beard hairs. The robes that they gave us were torn. The heating was broken so we were freezing the whole night. Even the shower water was not hot enough. In the morning the breakfast was the worst hotel breakfast that I have ever seen absolutely everything was burned and dry, juices were store bought even though the city is filled with orange trees. The whole hotel was filled with mold. The cold with the mold resulted in me having severe throat infection the next day. The staff on the reception were nice but that is the only positive thing that I can write.

This place needs to be shut down for cleaning and renovations. I stayed in the superior suite during January and the heat was not working. I literally froze my rear off all night long. The toilets didn’t flush and the bath tub faucet didn’t work. I had to wait in the lobby for 10 minutes for a hairdryer that wasn’t supplied in the room. They gave no instructions on their lack of parking or how to find the hotel prior to arrival. Someone was vacuuming outside my room at 2am. The entire hotel is dirty. It’s a cute place, lovely location. very sad how poorly it’s been cared for ..

My wife and I had a great experience of this hotel in the middle of old town Sevilla. Everybody at the front desk was helpful and nice. We do remember specially Lucia, who greeted us on the day of her arrival. She is an amazing young woman, and woman that helped us round up many of them highlight for a visit.

The halo boutique is above and beyond. The rooms are very very nice and well kept. However, what made this hotel A MUST STAY was the staff. Joaquin at the front desk was so amazing. He would greet us anytime he saw us and just had a smile that would light up a room. He gave us many recommendations on restaurants or whatever else we needed. You can tell he is very invested into his job and enjoys what he does. Something like this makes a stay from average to, like I said “ABOVE AND BEYOND”. Thank you Halo boutique hotel and especially Joaquin for making our stay in Seville amazing. (Photo from rooftop pool)
