The temperature in the room is 16 degrees Celsius, while outside -5. You go back to your room and you're freezing. Heating - only air conditioning, which works by card, which you must take when leaving the room for the whole day. The hot vegetables for breakfast seemed to be mixed some part fresh and some part beeing few days old. I eat 4 breakfasts here. French "pain au chocolat" was dry inside and stale. You can bake such a roll in smaller quantities every day...

The room was very warm, quiet, clean and comfortable. All hotel staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast was great. And the location is perfect the hotel is next to the Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof and if you want you can walk to the city center(Altstadt or königsallee) in a 20 minutes.

Unfortunately didn't convince me in total: Terrible internet/ wifi, basically non-existent in the free version and there is barely any cellphone coverage. Card scanner in the elevator is placed very low and difficult to reach. Stairway doesn't take you to the lobby, or directions were not clear enough. Door to the room takes ages to close - the door brake is too slow and I need to wait like idiot in front of the door until it closes. There is just 1 sliding door for both bathroom AND toilet, which is very inconvenient. Sink was clogged in my room. Also the bathroom could be cleaner / some utilities newer. On the up side: Location is very central Rooms are large Rooms have ironing board Good breakfast selection

Guys please don’t stay at this hotel, other than the location being good and very close to the main train station, the staff really need more training! Especially the hotel manager Annamaria Lehne! Got the hotel late last night, as here for couple of nights, got given the room however the AC was not working properly, complained, and nothing came out of it! Was very tired so went to sleep, as had work to do next morning, after a trouble sleep because the room was baking, I got up and went in the shower, which caused the whole room to flood! I was calm about it and complained to hotel manager before I left in the morning, whom said she would sort it, come back at 3pm to find the flood is still there and room has not even been turned down!! Please see the pics attached. Told Annamaria and she acted like it was normal, I mean even in 1 star hotels if the room is flooded they would get someone to sort it right away! She was not even apologetic, and just said I’ll change your room, very cold behaviour! Many other hotels in this city, please stay elsewhere!!! Update: I was moved to Room 711 where the manager Annamaria assured me the room was perfect, I walk inside the room and it’s not been made, the sheets are dirty from the night before bins are full and bathroom is dirty, please see the pictures attached!!!!! What a joke of a manager and a hotel!!!!!!!!!!
