My family has been visiting this hotel for many years now. All of the staff is amazing, but most amazing is Lynette. She is a blessing to everyone she meets, and she keeps us coming back to visit year after year! The breakfast is fantastic, the kitchen staff works very hard to keep up with demand. Notably much busier than most Hampton Inn hotels. Everyone was so friendly and in good spirits. Something to note is that the elevators are very slow during the breakfast rush, as others have said, but it is to be expected and mostly people are able to laugh about it amongst each other. Other times of the day the elevators are very fast. The rooms are clean and welcoming. Unlike a standard chain hotel, each room has a slightly different floor plan which I thought was cool! The hotel is very close to a lot of shopping and restaurants and in a very safe location. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone in need of a place to stay downtown!!!

Kaitlyn was amazing! She gave me and my now finance a gift and a handwritten card! Amazing! She was beyond amazing! Thank you so much Kaitlyn! The staff was so incredibly nice! We will 100% be back and Kaitlyn’s customer service should be recognized and rewarded with a raise or something she was so great!

For what you pay for, this is great. This hotel also had no hidden fees at checkout which I loved. There is a parking garage that is attached but also one just on the other block that is a I used. Self check-in and out was new for me, great option. Elevators were only slow for us at 11am (checkout time), but took about 5-10mins. Outside that one time, we had no issues. I would stay there again if I was in the area.

We have stayed at several Disney properties and I would absolutely compare the service kindness and comfortability to them from this location. We were absolutely blown away by this hotel for the price we paid. I want to give a special shoutout to Marcus from the front desk over the night. He was so welcoming and kind and made the vibe so much better. He even took a photo of us infront of the Christmas tree. My husband raved about him all evening and into the next day. We will definitely stay here again every time we come to Chicago. The location was perfect to all shopping and dining, the room was clean and comfortable, and overall we had an amazing stay!!

This is a decent hotel. Friendly staff. Elevators are challenging at peak times. Very slow. Not sure what is up with that. Suggestion is to get on the elevator up or down, then at least you'll be on and eventually go the direction you want. Otherwise you might have to wait 2 or 3 more elevators before there is one with enough room. Our room was decent. AC stopped working after 3rd day but it wasn't super hot outside so we were fine. Shower drained slowly. Bathroom faucet wasn't working properly. And they have cheap toilet paper. The shower towels were very small. On our last day, at 815am, cleaning lady tried to come into our room for no reason. We didn't ask for anything. Woke us up. We had to yell at them to stop them from entering. It was weird. Bed was comfortable. Our room was right next to the maid closet so we kept hearing banging noises from their room. You'd think they would try to be a bit more quiet. Not sure if I'd stay here again.
