Great English-speaking staff, good location; can walk to city centre in under 30 mins or there are bus stops just yards away. Rooms perhaps a little old fashioned but housekeeping good.

I'm not sure how this hotel has a 4 star rating. The room felt very dated and clearly needed a fresh coat of paint. The air conditioning barely worked and even at the coolest setting was just blowing hot air into the room. The walls are paper thin which meant you heard everything going on around you. The curtains in the room barely closed with the window closed and could not be closed at all with the window in any way open. Other than that, location was ideal for the purpose of my trip as was only a 1km walk to my office and an easy taxi ride into the centre. Unfortunately there is no restaurant on site and the closest restaurant (a 2 min walk) was basic at best. Breakfast was ok (typical continental breakfast, tho very small selection) and the Wifi was decent enough to get some work done. The best thing this hotel has going for it is some of the staff, in particular the lady who was working in the breakfast room each morning and another lady who was working reception on a couple of the days during my trip. For future trips to Bologna I would not be staying at this hotel and would go much closer to the centre so that I didn't have to take a taxi just to get a meal.

A group of us booked 4 rooms here and stayed one night as we had flights to catch from Bologna Airport the next morning.. The service on reception was efficient and friendly, the rooms and shower were clean, and the breakfast next morning offered a good selection to please everybody. Location was perfect, with Bologna town easily accessible to see the sights, a very nice restaurant ~15mins away (pizzeria le rose) and the airport a short

The hotel is located about a 10 minute bus ride from the city centre, which is quite convenient. The room was smaller than it seemed in the pictures but it was pretty comfortable nonetheless. The mattresses were good, the Aircon was working fine. The Minibar/fridge wasn't working, which I mentioned to the receptionist on the second day. I was told someone would have a look but unfortunately that didn't happen so unfortunately we couldn't store anything in the fridge. The bathroom was good sized. It wasn't the newest and I wasn't a big fan of the rain shower but it was solid overall. The WiFi was unfortunately very bad. The staff (at the reception, housekeeping and in the kitchen) were friendly and helpful (minus the minibar thing). They booked a taxi ride to the station for us before we checked out (10 euros for the ride, by the way so definitely worth it if you have a suitcase, rather than hassling with a bus). The breakfast was pretty good (no warm food like sausages etc, from what I can remember though) and fresh. Overall it was a pretty good stay and I'd recommend the hotel.
