Hebe Hotel

Loved this place! It’s close to the train station which was really convenient. We walked to the hotel from the station. I’m sure you could take a taxi, but it is literally right down the street. The staff are wonderful. All of them are so helpful and kind! Out of all the places I stayed, it was my favorite hotel and staff. Hugo, Hortence, Simeon, and the other staff that I unfortunately didn’t catch their names, I give my thanks! You are all awesome! Our room was large and clean and the bed is very comfortable. There is a coffee machine in the room, a mini fridge, and water. I love the decor of the hotel and room as well. They are very nicely decorated. There was AC in the room and it works well, which is so great! I get hot at night and mosquitos love me so I was a bit worried I’d have to open the windows. So glad we didn’t have to! I took my mom on her first trip to Europe so I tried to pick really awesome places. I also wanted two twin beds so we didn’t have to share a bed per se. It’s hard sometimes to find hotels with two twins and not just a double or queen size bed. The hotel was very well soundproofed and our room, that faced the backside, was quiet. The street side might have been a bit noisier, not sure. But the backside was definitely quiet, especially with the windows closed. There is a lift which is great because 6 flights would have not been fun! So I’m so glad there was a lift. The breakfast was delicious and well worth it. They have yogurt bowls and avocado toast, cheeses, other pastries, breads, and fruit. The staff were kind enough to make me an iced americano also as I love my iced coffee and it’s hard to find in Europe sometimes. They have other food, a small menu for lunch/dinner I believe, like soups, but we only had the breakfast. They have beer and wine available for purchase, and maybe other drinks though I am not for sure. The beer is from a local brewery and was really good! I highly recommend. We were here for three nights and I was sad to leave. I would love to go back someday and explore more of the outdoors and go on adventures. Oh and they do have electric bikes for rent, though I was too nervous to try it since I’ve never been on one and was worried I’d have an accident! I felt very safe in the hotel and area. Just a tip, if you are too tired for dinner out, I used Uber Eats and had pizza delivered from Pizza Cosy down the street. The pizza was really good. Le Freti has delicious food, especially the blue cheese potato dish, and Le Bureau is a fun and busy sports bar.

Wonderful and helpful staff especially Hugo and Hania, who were so thoughtful with our stay and provided great travel recommendations on food and biking routes. Lovely boutique hotel, bed and pillows were comfortable with AC. Close to train station but not right in the heart of Annecy old town. They had e-bikes to rent right on the premise so that made our trip a breeze. Thank you!
