Nestled amongst some of Kingston’s most beautiful century homes, the Hochelaga is a gem. This inn is well appointed and maintained. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. My room had all of the necessary conveniences and the bed was soft and comfortable. Breakfast is a lovely continental or for a small fee a hot alternative. Choosing the extra for the hot breakfast is a no brainer, this is easily a $20 + meal at a restaurant, offered for only $8. The coffee served was of superior quality and taste. This was my second stay at the Hochelaga and I hope to do it again. Recommend you call direct and ask for their best price and plan to book ahead as they are often quite busy especially in the summer months.

Room was pleasant and clean. Young man on front desk at check-in was friendly and helpful and offered to carry up bags. Free Breakfast was charming and a big step above the usual continental breakfast offered at most chains. Great location! Walked to everywhere we wanted to go. Best part of Kingston! Ladies in morning very friendly.

We had a lovely, relaxing 2-night stay in this beautiful heritage home. Quiet location, only a very short walk to Princess St. and downtown. Large well-appointed room, clean and tidy; comfy bed and couch. Friendly staff. Good continental breakfast (included in room rate) included tasty croissants and chocolatines, very good coffee, and a large selection of teas. But bread other than plain white sliced "Donald Duck" or Wonder bread would be nice.

I had a delightful stay at this historic hotel. The building's charm is truly captivating, although some facilities show their age, a small price for its historic appeal. The staff's friendliness and assistance added to the positive experience. The location, within walking distance of downtown, waterfront, and Queen’s University, is ideal. Additionally, the complimentary coffee and breakfast were not only appreciated but also delicious, making my stay even more enjoyable.
