Upon arriving at Holiday Inn Austin Midtown, I was greeted by a friendly staff at the reception. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was informed that my room had been upgraded, which instantly set a positive tone for my stay. Entering the room, I was delighted by the spacious environment. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the extra space allowed for a more relaxed and enjoyable stay. I spent the next day exploring Austin, and the hotel's location made it easy to access popular attractions and landmarks in the city. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming accommodation option in Austin.

The facility is showing its age. The room was comfortable, but... There is a balcony, how quaint. There may have been more scenic vistas when this was built, but the balcony serves no purpose now, except to stick your head out to check on your truck. It was especially blustery when I was there. The wind whipping around the corner had the glass sliding door howling like a haunted house. Next big remodel, I suggest pushing the room out to make it larger, utilizing the balcony for more practical space. And in this day of complimentary breakfast with the obligatory Texas shaped waffles, what's up with the fifteen buck Green Eggs & Ham. It was all very good, but it ain't the Sunday brunch at the Galvez.

The moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the entire staff. The check-in process was seamless, and I was made to feel right at home. Throughout my stay, every encounter with your team was marked by genuine kindness, attentiveness, and a true commitment to satisfaction. Also the breakfast provided each morning was a delight, offering a wide array of delicious options to start the day. The staff members there were friendly and accommodating. Truly set the tone for a positive and energizing day ahead. Moreover, I must commend the entire team for the customer service. Whether I had a question, needed assistance, or simply wanted recommendations for local attractions, your staff members were consistently knowledgeable, approachable, and eager to assist. Again I want to extend my appreciation to each and every staff member, from the front desk to housekeeping, from the breakfast team to management. Your collective efforts create an atmosphere that is welcoming, comfortable, and truly sets you apart. Please extend my gratitude to Myra, Griselda, King, Ben and the entire team for their exceptional service. Was having a meeting with work here. Drive up and thought this is not somewhere I would normally stay. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, that’s why it got stars, my room was not cleaned very well if at all. Stains on the furniture, worn down carpet, all the lamps where unplugged or the light bulbs where unscrewed. One of the beds in my room had hair under the covers. Had a balcony that could t open the door to. Coffee maker had a used k cup in it.

Ben at front desk was friendly and accommodating. The rooms however should never passed inspection. I’m a housekeeper myself so I get it but there was too much trash to ignore when we did a quick check.Starting off with the most obvious trash near the bed not picked up, dead bugs under the night stand, trash in the closet, and worst of all breast milk left in the freezer compartment courtesy of the previous guest. 🤢
