I flew into Chicago during a winter storm, Additionally, all Alaskan flights had been canceled because of a problem with a door opening during a flight. So here I was stuck quickly I had to find a hotel to stay at overnight. Upon arriving I understood that I would need to pay $50 for early check-in or hang around in the lobby for eight hours. When I approach the desk and explain that I was one of the passengers whose flight got canceled from Alaska Airlines they waived the $50 early check-in fee. My room was clean and fresh smelling The front desk personnel were very helpful and getting me settled and also letting me know the shuttle times for morning departures from O’Hare airport. Very pleasant experience

The rooms were fine and staff were helpful but the airport shuttle is the weak link. There is a schedule but apparently the shuttle driver is not aware of it. Ended up having to take my own taxi back to the hotel.

I spent ten consecutive nights here and it honestly was very pleasant. I couldn’t ask for more cuz everything went well. I am an IHG member and my special requests were fulfilled. My King room was spacious, quiet and extremely clean. The bed and pillows are Amazing!!! So comfy and I had rest as if I was home. What’s not to like? The room was equipped with a coffee pod machine, microwave and fridge. All of the folks I encountered were Great. Friendly and genuinely courteous staff from the front desk, the housekeepers, the Bar Louie staff, the market personnel as well as the shuttle driver. Thank you all for making my stay so warm and welcoming. Cheers!!!

Check for bedbugs!!! The only one pro I could mention initially was the free parking, other hotels charge between $18-$30± per day. I woke up to red itchy bites and discovered 2 bugs in between my pillows afterward. It's November, there aren't any mosquitos!! The worst part is that the sheets and the noticeable bedding overall looked and smelled clean. The carpet in the bedroom looked like it needed a vacuum, our ac/heater unit's front panel was hanging off of one side to a degree and there were noticeable stains especially under the light on a couple of the surfaces. Thankfully, the bathroom was clean. The lady at the front desk who took my concern was really nice and had me file an incident report so I could be refunded through Priceline. It sucks but no matter what, check before you hit the pillow!!

Good location if you want something that’s not too expensive but still close to the airport. However, this place needs some deep deep cleaning. Also, I personally believe individuals or couples without kids should not be given shared rooms with doors in between them with families with several kids. The constant noise or knocking on the door was nearly unbearable.
