This is a solid, older Marriott. We’ve stayed at newer ones who didn’t get the basics right. The basics: close to the airport and grocery store. The room temp was perfect and easy to adjust. The beds were comfortable. The suite was roomy. Housekeeping paid attention to details. The breakfast was good—oatmeal, fruit, waffles, eggs, bagels, etc. Best of all was the HOSPITALITY! Magda at the front desk was professional, friendly and helpful.

My family and I decided to stay at this hotel for New Year's holidays and we were not disappointed. We were a group of 10 people, including children. The hotel has an indoor pool which is an advantage during the winter season. The rooms are clean and have their own kitchen area. But what we liked most was the breakfast, it was varied and hot, very delicious. In addition to that, downtown Chicago is 20 minutes away and the mall is just 3 minutes away. I definitely recommend it.

The main attraction of this hotel is it's proximity to the airport. The rooms are also very comfortable and quiet which makes this place a great option if you need to fly out in the morning or stay for a layover. There's and Outback in the lobby which is a great option for food. There are some minor maintenance issues in the lobby that need to be addressed like cracking paint and scuffed carpet. They do charge $30 to park your car which I understand being an airport hotel but is still a bit of a pain.

Was there for only a few hours due to an airline issue. Front desk guy was Amazing. Got a bunch of stranded passengers into rooms using airline vouchers and used food vouchers for us to get snacks, all at like 1 am. He had to write it all down to input it later, but he did so, smiling and friendly the whole time. The room was dated but had everything you'd need in a little apartment. It served its purpose for the short time I had it. It's just kind of in the middle of nowhere, but that was fine for what I needed it for. I left there in a better mood than I'd have expected, considering I was supposed to be miles away in TX.
