Good regular hotel, nothing fancy. Close to the airport and very convenient with shuttle (except you don't know and wont be told where they pick you up at the terminal, hard to find) Rooms clean But my room ceiling was so low that my hair was touching (I’m tall 6’4”) it in the washroom. AND to shower you need to climb into a tub.

The hotel and the location are really good However, finding the rooms are a bit challenging because they have south and north zones and the lifts are somewhere in the other end Staff at reception are good. When you call for room service, a polite lady very sweetly talks to you with hell lot of sarcasm that you’ll regret calling them. I asked while placing an order for breakfast, “is it a fresh orange juice or a package one”? To which she replied, “what do you think? Huh! No one is sitting here to squeeze fresh oranges for you and make fresh orange juice to offer you. We have work to do and we are busy”. I said, I just asked so that I can order something else. Didn’t mean to offend you. Because other hotels do offer fresh juices and I’m sorry to ask. She told me, no one does that okay. No one does. I very firmly told her my profession and the countries I had been to and asked her if she would like to know their menu and she’ll find out. Then only she went quiet and allowed me to speak and finally she understood that she was disrespectful towards me. She even corrected my grammar. Because in the menu there was a comma , between two choices and she told me I have to choose one. I can’t get both of them. I told her, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to get both choices for free but it says that these two things are the part of the meal because there is a comma , not a slash / Why do I need to show off my profession in order to ask her to be respectful towards me, I didn’t get that. Hot food in a plastic pack with a plastic cutlery, a juice without a straw, it wasn’t expected from Marriott

I’m writing this review on behalf of my grandparents, who are 83 and 80. They were on a cruise in Europe when my grandfather suffered a stroke. Their flight route to return home took them through Chicago, and after missing their connection, they were required to overnight, and the airline put them up at the Marriott for their overnight stay. Because of the stroke, my grandfather was unable to stand or walk on his own. The hotel staff went above and beyond to not only make sure that he was safely able to get to his room, but also assisted my grandmother in both getting him into and out of the bed, ensuring that he didn’t need to spend the night sleeping upright in his wheelchair. We are beyond thankful to the staff and this hotel for helping my grandparents in a time of crisis and cannot say enough about their service and care.

The front desk manager was completely unprofessional. I was on the phone with her and she could care less about customers. Absolutely did not care about hearing anything I said since her reply was always “that’s our policy” basically saying not my problem. Even if you can’t do anything because of a policy doesn’t mean you lose basic manners. Unbelievable coming from a “manager”
