The location of this hostel is so great, you’re at few min walk of everything, didn’t need to use the public transport while moving around, and the rooms were really clean and well maintained, 0 complaints, even communication with the non english speaking staff came be handled with Google translate (although if you have specific needs it’s probably better to speak some spanish cuz there was no english speaking staff member while we were there)

Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. It’s so bad it’s not worth even 10€. I arrived late only to find the ac doesn’t make hot air and there’s no duvet. Called the lady from the front desk, she said because the light is on so there’s nothing wrong with the ac, I put up my hand said there’s no hot air, she did the same and said in my face that”I could feel the hot air”, I asked for the duvet she came back with two bedsheets said that’s all she could find. I said it’s cold I’m cold, she refused to do more and said, “you are not cold”. I argued more and she said there’s nothing she could do. I complained online to their hotel because there’s nobody else at the place. she called and said, she could only find another bedsheet. It’s taken an hour and already at 1am, I’m really tired can’t deal with this nonsense anymore. So I spent my first night in Madrid with bedsheets and no ac, caught a cold that ruined my trip.

Took the private room. The room had no power plugs(!!!). I had to disconnect the small fridge so I can use the plug for charging. The room is small but was enough for me as a solo traveler. The receptionist didn’t speak English but made everything to help and explain. Good location right in El Centro. The place is very SAFE as the doors are always locked and can be opened only by guests.

Excellent location to visit Madrid ! 5~10min walk to sol and placa mayor. Friendly staff. Clean room and comfortable bed. Though, the room could use a more pleasant decoration. There is moisture in the room and especially in the bathroom. Bad smell coming out of the sink, so we had to cover it each time after taking a shower. Very competitive prices we couldn't find elsewhere, we got a discount for 3 night booking.
