Chiusarelli was a great hotel in the heart of Siena. The rooms were very comfortable and even in a cheap room, there was plenty of room for the four of us. The breakfast area downstairs was very nice and had a beautiful view. The food was great and the staff was very kind and friendly. Also, the staff that we met was English-speaking, which was very helpful. Overall, it was a great hotel and it improved the whole experience!

Overall it was a good experience. Besides one of the receptionists who wasn't too excited to see guests, the two others, a senior gentleman (later shift) and a lady were very nice. From the picture posted I had different expectations of the quality and space of the room, given that we booked a triple room. Maybe it was the only room left, though it was small for three people

We loved it! We were amazed with the vintage style! Cozy and clean rooms. The location is great as it is pretty close to the most famous attractions. All the staff attending us was very nice and willing to help us with any questions about how to move around at all times which we appreciate it a lot. Also, something that surprises us was that when the person from reception realized we speak Spanish he started talking with us in Spanish (funny fact). Definitely, I’ll recommend it to my friends and be back again.

Rooms are clean well decorated, tastefully painted and bathrooms all updated with excellent fixtures. My room looked out on the stadium field behind the hotel which was fine. Towels are large. I gave the service five stars because twice Mateo at reception came all the way up to my room to deliver information about a possible car driver and was even bringing my luggage. Access to the rooms is by way of stairs and they can be confusing because you go up and then down to get to the next floor up! On my first returning to the reception desk I got lost. But this is not uncommon in old Italian building where multiple buildings have been connected to one another. There is no elevator. A minor annoyance was a very bright green light in the room all night that was too high to be covered. Breakfast is delicious and the dining area at the back of the hotel beautifully decorated and very elegant with tall windows making it very light and cheery. Location is pretty good although you have to walk probably 8 to 10 minutes to get to the Cathedral or the square.

Friendly, professional service right from the time of booking by e-mail. The hotel is really recommendable, especially if you want to visit Siena or the surrounding area by car. It is perfectly located right in the city centre, has parking facilities. It is not so easy to find without driving into the "limited traffic zone" of the city, but it is well explained by the hotel with a map in advance. The furnishings are impeccable and cleanly in a beautiful Italian style. Occupancy with 3 people (adults + teenager) was no problem. Air conditioning is available and the breakfast is very comprehensive. There is also the possibility to have dinner in the restaurant next door. If we ever travel to beautiful Siena again, the Hotel Albergo Chiusarelli is the first address to ask. Thank you very much for the wonderful days!
