My wife and I stayed at Hotel Columbia this past August and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. Our Room was clean, spacious and they had a great selection of pillows. It is always great to find a similar pillow to home! Breakfast service was simple and satisfying and the staff felt like family. This feeling of family, home and comfort pervades every aspect of service and by the end of our stay we felt genuinely welcomed into the city by the entire staff. We loved playing cards, and drinking lazy Aperol spritz' on the patio before a night out. We loved the recommendations for cocktail bars and restaurants from the front desk team. But mostly, we loved being apart of the family, even if it was for a short time! We look forward to booking with Hotel Columbia in the future!

Summary: Hotel Colombia was a decent hotel located super close to the main train terminals which was great for travelers/tourists like ourselves. While the rooms were a bit dusty and the elevators TINY, overall, the rooms and bathrooms were clean enough and had the necessities. As a heads up, breakfast is not included with your stay but an additional cost, and there is an additional city tax fee added on top of bills for non-residents that you pay upon checking out. You’re also NOT allowed to keep your key when you leave the hotel, and must leave it at the desk whenever you leave, though there is a 24 hour reception service as a saving grace. Overall we felt safe walking around during the day, but our taxi driver cautioned us not to walk around the station area after dusk as it can get sketchy. Pros: • decently clean • room has the necessities Cons: • breakfast is an additional cost • city tax for non-residents • walk to the hotel can get sketchy after dusk, depending on if you walk past/by the train terminals

We had a great stay at Hotel Columbia. It was well managed. Clean, airy room, with beautiful decorations. Roof deck for breakfast is pleasant and peaceful. Very convenient location to access the Colosseum and take public transportation. It's a gem in the busy city of Rome :)

Stayed for 5 days with 2 kids and couldn’t love this hotel more! Starting with the very friendly staff, who were so patient and adorable with my children. Literally all of them from front desk, breakfast staff and housekeeping were very nice! Our room was very clean. The location is also perfect for visiting Rome and within a reasonable walking distance to major tourist attractions. Also, the restaurant next door had the best pasta we’ve tasted while in Rome! Overall, lovely hotel and great location.
