We had a beautiful experience and were so happily surprised by the quality of our evening here. If you have the $ for the chef’s tasting menu, do try. And go now while you can- this 27 year old is going nowhere but UP. The service was attentive, the restaurant is tastefully appointed, with a traditional wood feel. Wine list is well thought out. Our dishes were modern with a traditional twist, including ingredients from local sources, such as a spiced pickled green walnut that rocked my world, a crab, cabbage and red pepper coulis dish so good I could have licked the bowl, and a lentil miso Carmel sauce that had our jaws on the floor. Not too meat heavy, in fact a lovely mix of seafood and vegetable stars. Wow. Just wow.

Evan found this terrific Michelin star restaurant in Luzern Switzerland. Wow. Not pretentious at all, in fact it was very simple. But the food was outstanding! We basically had their brunch menu. I had the cucumber soup (fantastic), the rosti with gruyere (basically a fancy hash brown with egg and pickled onion), and cheesecake pudding. Phenomenal!!

Great location. Spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and rooms. Wide selection of tastes in the breakfast buffet options. Very helpful staff, especially with an external issue we encountered.
