I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say that I was highly disappointed with both the staff specifically the old guy and the service. The staff's attitude was unhelpful and unfriendly, which made my stay uncomfortable from the beginning. They didn’t give me the family room suite initially which I booked. Then after an argument he gave me the room. We were with kids. They were not providing the even the dishes also in the room which is so much required if you are travelling with kids. If hotel owner can make the staff more helpful and friendly that will be the best addition in the hotel. In my opinion refrain from booking this hotel. Overall, my experience at this hotel was far from satisfactory. I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Others may have written a more complete review but I would like to highlight some points so people can make an informed decision. Rooms are small and old. The location is not very far from the town center but far enough to not justify the price. The service, epecially at the reception, is poor. Overall I would not recommend staying in this hotel.

I liked the three-star hotel, but it fully corresponds to a four-star hotel. Delicious breakfast, a large selection of the buffet. There is parking from the hotel and there is also another parking lot around the corner. The price and quality are great!

Friendly and helpful staff. Elevator was available for upper floors. Our room was 18sq mt, small !! Room was clean and organized though. Only stayed 2 nights, noticed the room was very warm at night, tried adjusting radiator but heat would not turn off completely. Opened window and then had to suffer through street noise, mainly people talking loudly at all hours. Plus, a hair loss clinic across the way had a video running continuously projecting flickering light into our room. Do not recommend the rooms facing the street. The shower in the bath looks like it may have been from the 50s. The breakfast at 15 CHF each was pretty decent. The hotel provides a bus pass for unlimited travel in the immediate area, think it was zone 10, but best to verify. Centrally located and easy to walk around town from the hotel. Recommend that the owners talk to the hair loss clinic to put their video on a timer to turn off at night.

I would not recommend staying here. The room was not clean, it was hot and stuffy with no air-conditioning. The walls are really thin, you can hear everything next door and on the floor above. The room was in bad repair with all the furniture chipped and the mattress old and saggy. The shower over the bath was difficult to use because the bath was small with a step/ledge in it. A totally horrible stay, I'm glad it was only one night. When we reported that the room was not cleaned and made up the staff were not very helpful or responsive.
